Since we have started we have run workshops across the board and under a multitude of different paradigms. You see we not only focus on movement, fitness and creativity but have also been involved in various projects to benefit the overall wellbeing of our clients. Some of these programs include:

• Working with refugees in detention centres including Villawood, NSW.
• Main incursion provider for the YMCA’s Bushfire Relief free holiday programs for over two years to bushfire fire affected communities
• Volunteer with National Aboriginal Sporting Chance Academy in outback Australia on various communities where we have provided AFL and Circus skills
• Festival for Healthy Living in conjunction with the Royal Melbourne Children’s Hospital, Mental Health Victoria and 6 schools over 6 months in Yarram, Gippsland, teaching circus to grade six and seven under the theme of ‘Friendship’.
• Volunteer teacher at Circus Israel-a peace initiative for Arab, Israeli and Druze children
• We launched Mebourne’s first and longest running and ongoing all abilities circus, ‘Cirque Sur Roues’.
• Volunteer teaching circus with Tibetan refugees in the Himalayas.
• We have run numerous workshops with YSAS (Youth Support Advocacy Services), Birribee, and Headspace including Mental Health Day at Collingwood Football stadium providing graffiti and circus workshops for 3 high schools on the day.
• We have delivered a series of workshops for Beyond Blue, teaching circus under a mental health paradigm to numerous high schools in the Mornington Peninsula.

Further to this Ready Set Play Kids has been mentoring youth at risk and young budding coaches for professional development successfully. Should you want professional development in any of our roles, again please get in touch. Sometimes we all need a mentor, whether if it’s for work or life.

All of our coaches are professionals in their fields and have experience dealing with all abilities, ages and culturally sensitive to the needs of schools practicing religious faiths.
